Wedding FAQ's

1.

How do I know how many hours of coverage do I need?

Although eight hours of coverage is the most common, some brides & grooms opt for six or three hours depending on their needs. I always suggest thinking first of what are the most important events within your wedding that you need photographed and plan the hours form there.  For instance, you prefer having photos of your spectacular send-off and also want photos of you getting ready with your bridesmaids. Start from the send-off to when you have scheduled to get ready and there you have it.  As always, I'm here to help along the way and make sure we chose the best collection for you two.

2.

How long does it take you to send us our photos?

Typical turnaround time for your wedding photos is 9 - 10 weeks (albums take roughly 11 - 12) after the wedding day. Engagement & lifestyle sessions take 5 weeks. All photos are delivered through an online gallery and include absolute printing rights.

3.

How much do your lifestyle &  wedding collections cost?

Lifestyle collections begin at $650. 50% is due upon signing and the remaining 50% is due three weeks prior to your session. Wedding collections start at $1,650. When ready to book, there is a flat retainer fee (non-refundable) and the remaining amount is due 90 days prior to your wedding day.

You can chose to pay through check or credit card.

4.

How far in advance can we book you?

I accept bookings as far as a year and a half in advance.

5.

We love the airy, delicate and soft light feel in our photos. How can we get that in our photos?

Being a film photographer, I show a preference for natural light, too, and seek to capture that light in every photo whenever possible. Sunrise and sunset offer the best lighting, so if you're planning your engagement session to be outdoors, I suggest sticking to any of those time frames.

When planning your wedding, it's important to take note of how much natural light (ie. sunlight) enters the venue. Having the wedding outdoors or indoors with lots of windows (and at a earlier time of day) allows you to have that look and feel you to want in every photo. If you have a wedding planner, allow them to show you options of indoor & outdoor spaces that give you plenty of sunlight (side note for South Floridians: if you're wedding is outdoors, make sure to discuss with your planner a plan B in case it rains).

6.

What products do you offer?

I love, love printing photos. I believe prints complete the wedding experience. I offer albums sized at 10 x 10 inches, unbound folio albums and proof boxes. Some collections include albums, but you're more than welcome to add-on any items you wish.
